Logitude World provides the first true online freight forwarding software solution. It combines the power of cloud computing and modern technologies with a deep understanding of the Freight Forwarding Industry.
Since Logitude’s SaaS solution is rich in software modules, Release Notes are regularly issued to keep users up-to-date about new features and enhancements, as well as changes that were made since the previous release.
This version of the Release Notes introduces new features and functionalities, and describes existing features that were enhanced.
Logitude’s CRM module is now up and running! It is being offered both as a standalone package – the CRM Package – and as part of our new First Class package. In the First Class package, the CRM module is bundled with the Business Class package.
The CRM module has been designed as a sales and marketing platform to help freight forwarders manage their company’s relationships with their customers and potential customers. The CRM module is incorporated with the entire Logitude application so that all areas of the freight forwarding business are connected. For further information on CRM features, please visit the Solutions and CRM pages on our web site: https://www.logitudeworld.com/solutions and https://www.logitudeworld.com/crm.
Logitude’s basic Economy Class Package has been reorganized and it is now being offered at a better price.

The Shipment Charges Analysis report under the Accounting section in the Reports menu provides you with the ability to locate and handle charges and expenses, at charge type level. It enables you to query your financial data and check the status of a certain charge type, whether it is accounted/open and it exists in a shipment.
The report presents information on charges by shipments, showing the shipment number, customer name, charge type name and code, payables and receivables, and other relevant data. Filters like Currency, Charge Type per receivable/payable line, and Date are available to help you control your report results. The report results can be downloaded to Excel for further analysis.
We have introduced the ICAO airline coding system to Logitude so that shipments can be processed both for airlines with 2-character IATA codes and those that do not have IATA codes but only ICAO codes. The Airlines Table now contains the three-character ICAO code for all the airlines defined in Logitude. This industry-standard alphanumeric code, used by air traffic control and airline operations such as flight planning, can now be used in Logitude to identify, search and filter airlines.
The Connected Entities tab has been added to the shipment entity in order to organize all of a shipment’s connected entities – master, quote, customs file – under a single page. From this tab, you can quickly access the connected entities and return to the shipment to resume work.
The new Shipments tab in the quote entity works in the same way as the Shipments tab in master shipments. It opens a page showing all the shipments that are connected to the current quote, with details such as shipment number, create date, type and status. The number of each connected shipment will appear as a link that can be clicked to instantly drill into the shipment record.
The list of Inside Packages can be added to your Forwarder’s Bill of Lading (FBL) and Shipping Declaration documents, upon request. When added, the templates will include the package type, quantity, dimensions, volume, volumetric weight, weight and description of the inside packages. Contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you!

In messages sent via the Pickup Docs Out and Delivery Docs Out options in shipments (access from the Routings tab) separate variables are now available for pickups and deliveries. Pickup variables supply data associated only with pickups and delivery variables supply only delivery data.
The Move Type field has been added to the Details tab in the Quotes module. It is the similar to the Move Type field in shipments.
An Amount (in Profit Currency) field and the currency rate will appear in the Edit Payable and Edit Receivable dialog boxes (activated from a shipment’s Payables and Receivables tabs) when the Original currency is different from the profit currency and from the local currency. This will help you track the exchange rate for calculating the profit in profit currency.

The Approved By and Approved Date fields can be printed on invoice templates, upon request. Just contact us to submit your request.

A new status – TF – has been added to the picklist in the SCI field, in the General Details tab of the AWB wizards. This status is defined for goods moving under the Community Transit (CT) customs procedure. It applies to Community goods moving to/from or between special territories.
You can filter and search users now also by User Code.
Opportunities created in the CRM module might be cancelled at any stage. You can keep the activities (phone calls, appointments, emails and tasks) connected to an opportunity open even when you choose to cancel it. This means it will still be possible to edit some of the areas of those activities, like adding a new phone call and completing a task.
It is now possible to edit some of the fields in an opportunity even after it is closed.
Context-sensitive help has been attached to the Notes fields in all Quotes, Activities, Opportunities and Customer’s Sales tabs in the CRM module, showing the maximum number of characters allowed.
